The Challenge: Heavy Lifting on Stadium Turf

A major stadium project in the UK required the installation of new seating using a 35-ton GVW crane with a 100-ton lifting capacity.

The main concern was how to support this heavy equipment without causing damage to the carefully maintained stadium turf. The solution needed to be cost-effective, reliable, and quick to install.

A firm working platform was quickly laid to support the crane. As the crane moved position during the project, the mats were lifted and reused to create safe access across the field where needed.

Results and Outcome: A Clean and Successful Lift

A total of 312 MaxiTrack mats were rented for one week. The crane completed its lifting operations successfully, and the turf remained undamaged throughout the process.
